Photographer

With her photobook, Pandemic Journey, at the Griffin Museum of Photography ‘s 30th Anniversary Celebration, Winchester, Massachusetts, September 2022.

As a photographer, Anita Harris is happiest at the intersection of nature and art—where she seeks to capture the lines, colors, shapes and shades of geologic and biologic formations as they create ever-changing abstractions of their own.

Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows at several Boston area libraries, at Harvard University, at the “Treasures Over Time” shop in Salem, Mass., and at the Davis Orton Gallery in Hudson, NY.

Anita has taken courses in art and photography at: the Art Students League in New York City; Cornell and Harvard Universities; Columbia Journalism School; the Cambridge (Mass) Center for Adult Education, and the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Mass.
